that's a "hollywood" (studio) thing. not a silicon valley thing. ask around. many studios still debating 4k. crazy. but research shows 4k investment (manufacturing. retail. hardware. most bell-weather driving data) growing. big holiday (into 2016 youth and summer Olympics. super bowl. et. al) focus
still major brands with little (or no) 4k product line. vizio just announced their 2nd (of 4 expected) 4k product lines (the m-series). samsung is the only brand really ahead of the "curve" (with over 30 4k tvs)
remember. ntek is pc ready. handhelds. tablets. coming to ios (but the "hardware" market has to catch up)
ntek. ahead of market. it's a mistake to invest in too much "exclusively" 4k content w/o 4k tvs and products. spending money on rights with no way to recoup returns. maybe why ntek is streaming non-native content too. market has catching up to do (almost there. 2015 holiday into 2016 is key)
