I believe the low bandwidth requirements are part of it but it's also about the quality of the stream. Nanotech has been able to show off their advantage in compression while displaying the highest quailty content. This goes back to how important the np1 was for demonstration purposes and the genius of LX Rudis and 4k studios. Smaller companies emerging in a paradigm shift are often able to be more agile and innovative. I love hearing how it's impossible to compete with the deep pockets of billion dollar companies yet its proven wrong over and over. If that were true there wouldn't be a Netflix or Nvidia or Dell or Microsoft. We would all still be buying IBM computers with Texas Instruments processors. lol

Another difference is Ultraflix is using a ppv model which enables them to secure new releases ahead of Netflix and their subscription only model.
