ntek wouldn't give premium content free (just too expensive). and they don't "really" have a subscript service. but giving 4k/uhd ad-free "freemium" (that's what they call it) service makes sense
it may be a programming nightmare (ntek may have more work than they can handle right now) but packaging "freemium service" for a free-period (and collecting a rebate from tv brands). plus promotional concessions like
home launch button
ultraflix logo on box
ultraflix featured in menu
(even if ntek netted $10/subscriber for 3mo) got these consessions. probably be a coup
