It just seems to sy-fyish to invest in right now. I mean cars communicating with stop lights and signs? Solar flares from the sun take down communications all the time. So what happens when the car can't communicate with the stop light or sign? A massive accident, death, pile-up. Or what, is the car going to suddenly warn you that communications are down so you need to take the wheel?

I don't know if this will ever be big. If it was turned into like a trolly system where cars were on a track in the road or something and then they all just went at the same time, and stopped at the same time, that seems doable. But autonomous driving cars where you can read a book while your car drives you to work is probably never going to happen imo.
