SWIG stick basically will turn your smart TV in to a quad-core processing computer with pre-loaded functionality ranging from OTT/IPTV content and services (UF, Netflix, etc) to Games, Apps, and even some office capabilities (Office/Word/etc)
Importance is its just another outlet for that much more penetration of UF!
