Rakestar...the problem for me has been the history of what happens when I don't sell and when I do hold.
If you'll notice at the link below...the items encapsulated in RED are what's been my experience listening to the sage advice of "you haven't lost a damn thing until you sell" mantra. As you can see, there is nothing left for me to sell my worthless securities for, so I believe I have lost despite my not selling...right? Fact is, I don't think I could sell them if I wanted with their no longer having a ticker...right? If I can't sell them, I don't think I can use them for tax loss purposes, either although I may be wrong on that one.
BTW - Those cost basis numbers aren't accurate. That's just the way they are reflected now.
I appreciate what you're trying to say and I'm planning on riding this one out too in the hopes NTEK will come through eventually. Unfortunately, it's just a little reminiscent of what Yogi Berra would sometimes say..."It's déjà vu all over again". Good Luck!
