That reminds me of something extremely weird that happened to me a few years ago.
My son wanted me to fly his toy helicopter with him, only it was broken so I went into the closet to find the replacement blades for it. Which I didn't find!
What I did find was my family 'Code of Arms', which I haven't actually read in years and when I bought it while on vacation in 2012 I didn't even really pay close attention to it.
After reading it, it made me want to learn more about the person that it says I'm a descendant of, so to make a long story short, I Googled his name.
This is the freaky part, as I'm reading about him, it told a story about something that happened in his life exactly 1000 years to the day!

"In 1013 Brian led a force from his own Province of Munster and from southern Connacht into Leinster; a detachment under his son, Murchad, ravaged the southern half of the Province of Leinster for three months. The forces under Murchad and Brian were reunited on 9 September outside the walls of Dublin. "
