copper crashed due to the usual knee jerk market overreaction to events in china in jan -see RVM board- as low as 2.47 jan 29
which caused another copper silver miner i mod to mothball its restart after an earthquake closed operations
copper reportedly only $1 in 1993, which caused the Chloride mine to close at that time
ever since silver/golds fall 2013-2014 from unsustainable historical highs its been hard to get VC to invest in mining- again an overreaction because silver/ gold prices are still much higher than before that temporary rise
but copper has been at a 5 year low AND many miners irresponsibly allow their costs to boom
due to such anomalies due to insatiable greed and unreasonable expectations
