Makes one ask how and why these white collar criminals felt so emboldened to act in the blatant manner in which they have?

Either they are just complete idiots (as are most criminals), but I suspect instead someone or something assured insulation from potential consequences.

My guess is that as time moves forward, a rather unpleasant ending is in store for these conspirators......................
