I love your collection, hoping to have a collection myself one day. Right now I have a 80 mustang I restored when I was younger, nothing special the standard 2.3L engine nonturbo. Its hilarious when you get on the freeway, pedal to the floor just to hit speed limit lol. Its more for around town and car shows.
Agree with you on the lotus, beautiful cars. If I get the chance one day, I would love to own a Bricklin, DeLorean, and Ford GT (GT just to balance out the lack of power of the other cars lol). Also would love to get an early 90s jaguar convertible for cruising. Hear that the v12 in them are pretty powerful, but lack acceleration power.
It is true about what you say on picking a car based on what you are trying to accomplish and driving habits, however I would add it also comes down to how well you can adapt to each car's power, braking ability, steering, etc.
