I havent been following this very closely despite being long -so how long has the env permit been in process?
except for the road widening/strengthening the remaining env permit concerns can be easily taken care of
and the road dept will have its own permission based on experience and logic to improve the nearby highways-
so as a practical matter if NEWC has a contract w the road co ( I assume they do or are in process of such-makes sense -and PR's talk about materials which would be used in such)
to provide materials for the road improvements so they should be able to provide materials to the road dept under the aegis of the road depts permit
does anybody know the timetable of the road depts plans to improve the highways 1.8 mi and 11 km from NEWC's property? is it imminent?
but as to entities other than the road dept/govt they would need the env permit
why so many board visits today -isnt that unusual?
