LIFI anyone? 'LiFi', The future of LED business
Light Emitting Diode (LED) business is creating a united front with the communication carrier in order to take leadership in securing LiFi technology. Recently Japan and US companies have started commercializing it and it seems that have sparked the domestic companies to speed up as well. The development and growth of Internet of Things (IoT) will fasten the commercialization of LiFi technology.
LiFi technology uses LED luminous source, transferring data at an ultra-speed via light. With just LED lighting, internet can be used anywhere. Theoretically, it can process at 100 times faster than WiFI.
Exploration to secure LiFi technology among the major enterprises is very competitive. Communication carriers and IoT service companies have high interest.
