i have friends that do get influenced by media (messageboards, stocktwits, twitter etc) and act on messages they read.
They are pretty fresh traders/investors themselves and are influenced by others that may lie and manipulate.
I have been influenced myself by reading nonsense when i was naief and actually fell for it (in the past).
So i speak from experience.
There ARE newbie investors that can get influenced by negativity of false positive manipulated news or posts. Its really a no brainer for me that these things happen.
I feel sorry for the people that get misled (i was one of them in the past with other stocks).
At least now i have experience in the market and i'm less naief (not sure if i spelled that right).
