Over the past many months we've heard and seen evidence that NTEK is remastering reels of several different 'A list' movies and tv shows, ie. Sex and the City, The Dark Knight, etc. It would be nice to learn that they are using these shares in part to obtain distribution rights to these and others of similar caliber.
Ya know, Mitch Lowe, former President of Redbox made an very salient point with regard to consumer viewing habits in speech he made in Chicago back in 2013. He said that of the billions of video options available to consumers, there are only about 140 titles that make up 80% of all the consumer demand for movie entertainment per year. That's a miniscule number in comparison to the total content available. So, with that said, I sure hope we (NTEK) are focusing our resources on acquiring the rights to the filets and not just the chopped sirloin.
