I would submit that solar has most-likely 'already' undercut nuke costs, when all LCOE factors are figured-in....incl extremely expensive longterm costs of decommissioning (which takes +/- 30yrs), transport & containment (with no realistic longterm assurances), clean-up & longterm residual environmental & public health consequences. I-for-one am thankful that they have decided to close-down San Onofre , which is 20mi from my house....Diablo Canyon is next.
