AbbVie to Buy Pharmacyclics in $21 Billion Deal
For Pharmacyclics, a takeover would culminate a topsy-turvy history. It bought the molecule that became Imbruvica during a fire sale by gene-sequencing company Celera Genomics in 2006.

Yes I know, this is neither the AbbVie board nor is it the Pharmacyclis board. I believe there has been plenty of connections to PCYC that this wouldn't be entirety OT.
