Is there any rhyme or reason when reading lot numbers? Been trying to decipher what L1412RS means on the bottom of my Rico can. The best if used by date next to the lot # is 12/12/2016.

Best I could come up with is:

L = Lot
14 = Produced in the year 2014
12 = Month of December
RS = Rico Suave
