Regarding the crash last night: as a programmer who can read PHP code, I can tell you that the site truly crashed. It was a database issue and might have been caused by so much simultaneous posting. But remember that the entire investors hangout was down, not just the Baltia forum.
Regarding the lights, I agree that it might have made sense not to turn them off, but it also made sense to keep fire stream from seeing which doors were blocked and the signals to the crew. I know it sounds paranoid, but if he could have seen that activity, he could have relayed it to the crew and given them a few extra minutes of preparation. I think it was a good thing to 'blind' him to the signals.
And my opinion? I think we passed and the PR is being reviewed.
