I rather doubt if this is a smear project. More like a money maker for someone in the HC. Follow the money and the guilty party shall be disclosed. They should simply approve the proper paper work and permit life to go on. If they wish to resist doing the proper thing than the HC and the globe should prepare for a class action law suit. There are many sleazy, competent attorneys that will take a case like this on consignment. It will probably be an out-of-court settlement to save the Country of Canada the embarrassment.
