Wild Bill when you open your etrade pro screen go to the upper tool bar and scroll it to your right till you see the icon that says "market depth".  Click on that one.  This will open a small screen and in that screen you put in the ticker on your left where it says "symbol" This will give you the level 2 that you are looking for. I personally add the folowing to that same screen: in the upper right corner there are 3 little icons, link1, ? and one with a down arrow and lines next to it. Click on the one with the arrow and lines and click on the group that starts with level1 (Click on that one and the next 4 below it) this gives you a total view of the sumof the market makers at ask and bid, a small bar graph etc.  As you play with them you will see what they do.

One advice, when you have your screen layout do the save online because sometimes when your computer crashes you will lose the whole layout. In that way you can always retrieve it again.
