Nissan met with GOSY's CEO while he was in Japan. From GeckoSystems' recent press release it sounds as though they had a good discussion about autonomy for driverless cars. Here is a quote from their PR:
"As opposed to the driverless previously detailed mapped navigation used by Google, Nissan's concept of autonomous vehicles is more in line with our own AI mobile robot autonomy solutions. This is confirmed with quotes by the CEO of Nissan and Renault, Carlos Ghosn," said Spencer.
