$YOD - YOU on Demand's deal w/ FOX mirroring Time Warner & Walt Disney but results in share price has a long way to go. An stock play waiting to happen as the true value of this agreement has not yet been revealed.
21st Century Fox (NASDAQ:FOXA) is bringing its A game to China with a deal to bring flicks such as "The A-Team" and "Black Swan" to the country's small screens. The studio's distribution arm, 20th Century Fox Television Distribution, has green lighted a licensing agreement with YOU On Demand
Fox isn't the only studio with its eye on China's at-home movie watchers. In November, Time Warner's (NYSE:TWX) HBO formed a distribution deal with ISP Tencent to give Chinese viewers access to "Game of Thrones" and other hits from the premium cable channel. That same month, Walt Disney expanded its strategic partnership with Shanghai Media Group to include TV content development, film production, marketing cooperation and content distribution.
