Cinco Minas
Description
The Cinco Minas gold project is a historical producing mine that has been the subject of substantial previous exploration and production. The mine currently has a mineral resource of 23.33Moz silver and 235,000oz gold. Past exploration at Cinco Minas only tested 20% of the properties known vein system.
In February 2013, the project was acquired by Mexican mining firm Minera San Jorge (MSJ) from US-based Southridge Minerals. Cinco Minas is wholly owned by MSJ.
