With about seven barrels of petroleum products weighing a ton and assuming good, efficient conversion, we can divide your number by seven to estimate transportation cost per barrel saved if a processor were located at a viable customer site.
Mr. Bordynuik constantly claimed he would get paid to take plastic and then decided to buy it instead. So we'll see if your number is what made that prohibitive.
