Klondex Mines (OTCQX:KLNDF) just announced a new mineral resource estimate at its 100%-owned Fire Creek project in Nevada. The company says that the new resource base contains 420,500 ounces of gold at 38.1 g/t in the measured and indicated category, and 363,300 ounces of gold at 14.7 g/t in the inferred category, for total gold ounces of 783,500.
In addition, Klondex plans further exploration and development at both Fire Creek and Midas in 2015, with the potential of converting the inferred resources at Fire Creek to higher confidence categories. The Midas Mine already contains 526,000 ounces of gold in measured and indicated and 287,000 ounces in inferred resources. And it looks like further exploration potential still remains.
