If that happened, I don't think you have to worry about "flippers". They are taking advantage of zero liquidity with a large spread. There isn't going to be a 3%+ spread at that level. Also, who cares about the "flippers"? They are making practically nothing.

So far today "flippers" would have made a whopping total of $3843.28 ( And that is without commissions) if it just one person who perfectly bought the bid and sold the ask all day until 3:11pm. I also highly doubt it is just one genius who thinks he can make a living trading up and down all day tenths of a penny. So they aren't exactly making a killing with this stock.
