The Texas Railroad Commission will open bids to plug the P.H. Barnes wells today, January 23, 2015. It is expected to be very expensive. About $70,000 for the mining well and $5-8k more for the other two wells. Tesarski and Treaty will be forced to pay through a court action filed against them by the Texas Attorney Generals office representing the TRRC. If this happens Tesarski will most likely never be compliant in Texas and therefore will never operate any oil or gas wells in the state. The wells will be plugged by the TRRC shortly after the bid opens and the lawsuit by the AG will come soon after that.
