Here is another possibility(and what I did years ago):
Open an ADDITIONAL account with a different broker(your choice for the best deal), fund it electronically-ACH-you will up and trading within a couple days.
I do realize that some are having difficulty in an IRA account and cannot transfer.
In a regular account, there are no restrictions for funding-of course-you will need to fund the Government-TAX.
You need to decide how and if it will be worth the time,gains,and effort.
Hate to see everyone that is STUCK-Not acceptable or good for anyone.
