Hemp licenses in Canada have to be renewed each year, and the HC site says that applications can be made as early as mid-November to ensure getting approved for Spring planting. There is also information about getting a import/export license for industrial Hemp.

I would be willing to bet a few bucks that we see a PR not too far down the road, that could include a large import deal with the Ukraine. Remember that both Canada and the U.S. governments were working on a way to subsidize through Hemp imports. Bill was not twiddling his thumbs during all the overseas trips. JMHO.
