One would have to assume there is a danger of hostile takeover. Very unlikely at this point in time.
The most reasonable answer is simple dilution. Many companies dilute for no other reason then to keep the business afloat. Just think about it, the only positive income at this point in time is "nutrition" sales. Yet, there are many bills to be paid. Again, the financials should shed light on this situation.
