I have to admit it...I am surprised by the low level of profit taking there has been after this relatively significant run. My guess is that whoever is holding from buying at recent lows still believes that the stock is way undervalued and is determined to hold most, if not all, for a while -- perhaps at least until after the PR of the N-Assay patent?
Considering how valuable the N-Assay patent is, I wonder if there are companies with deep pockets waiting to make an offer to buy the Company once the patent is formally issued. What may make it so much more valuable to potential suitors is that (according to my understanding) it is ELISA based, a decades old diagnostic test -- meaning that whoever acquires the patent can immediately begin to take market share without heavy expenditures on equipment, training, etc.
Btw, manipulators are still playing it cautious. Around 50% of shares traded today were due to shorting and on little volume. Some may argue that there was no buying interest. Meh. More probable that there is a shortage of sellers and that the buyers are patiently waiting for the manipulators to continue their games. My observation is that an attempt was made later in the day to paint the picture that sellers were starting to take profits, but it wasn't very convincing. I expect that they will continue to test the waters tomorrow. Maybe they dare to attack the bid aggressively?
