Because if you put them on ignore you are the only one who gets shut out. They can still read your posts and respond to them. That gives the assholes an advantage. And by the way not responding to them doesn't stop them either, they are paid per negative post they put out. The only way to fight them is to have as many people we can to prove their posts are lies to try and drive the PPS down.
