Yes they are, but if I was brand new to this board, looking for DD contributions as an interested party to start a position in BLTA, my 1st impression would be, "there are a bunch of thugs on this board attacking others...I might not come back."
Having said that, since I've been here for a while, gotten to know the cyber personalities, to include an occasional email with two folks here, along with many PM's with others, the reasons for "push back" on the bashers is understandable.
The MODS here can delete posts, that's how to deal with these dive bombers, and we request admin to ban them.
Unfortunately, MODS can't be on the board 24/7, so they will sneak in.
They want a reaction. They want to piss you off. They want to stir the pot.
Don't help them....
