My wife and I opened a coffee shop several years ago. We had plans to open on the first of the month. We had a 3 week delay due to the power company rescheduling our dig and hook up three times. We had an inspection from the DEC put off a couple times while we finished upgrades. Then we had to wait for our permits longer than we planned. The whole time I kept asking my wife "where's the revenue? Where's the revenue?" Then we opened and sold a cup of coffee. Then we sold another. Then we sold a muffin. Then we sold a cookie.
