The only way to gain back some of the price loss since the June 12th shipment, is to hold up a bit, for more iron on the shipment, gaining about 10 dollars a MT on shipping with a larger vessel: however, small operators like PanAm/CWRN, can’t live without the revenues. Next logical thing to do, reduce mining cost, dropping off a lot of the rented equipment, use a smaller crew to excavate fresh iron, stop crushing while making more crush ready iron, to be crushed later, install 1-mm screens on the bottom decks of both the 2100x Chieftains, move them over near the mountain of under sized material and have all 3 screening plants running 24 hours a day. Take the crushers over to the highway project and crush 90K/MT of rock for some extra revenues.. Contract a 100K/MT on future fixed price, for 1 million dollar advance. I mean that’s what would do… LOL
