Yup. Pick an unrelated success story that shares one of the flaws with PTOI, and then use that shared flaw as evidence that PTOI will be a success story.
Some famous examples:
* Steve Jobs never finished college, therefore John Bordynuik can design and build the first profitable pyrolysis machine in the human history without any education or knowledge whatsoever about the field.
* Just because many people have tried to do something and failed doesn't mean that it can't be done. Just look at the Wright brothers! Clearly if they could build an airplane, then John can make a profitable pyrolysis system.
