I too rec'd a cal l from Maxim last year regarding my investment with AMBS. Don't recall the name of the person I spoke to but he indicated that he knew GC and had high opinion of him. Later in the conversation, he asked if I had invested in bio stock in the past and he firm was getting ready to have a private placement in a stock and wanted to know my interest level. Told him wasn't interested, he wished me luck with AMBS and that was end of discussion.

Don't know if your contact is same group with same purpose but wanted to share my experience with Maxim.
