From what I have heard, Proving Flights can begin on the second day after a successful mini-evac/ditching exercise. It further seems that the FAA skips a Monday and plans things for Tuesday - so - if the mini-evac can go off successfully by next Tuesday night, then Proving Flights could actually commence on Thursday the 18th.
