Not that I believe there is anything but a trivial short position in PTOI but short positions, naked or not, aren't an issue. The holder of the short position has to make the shareholder whole, whether those shares are real or, in naked short situations, virtual. As a shareholder, you should be indifferent to which shares you own.

There is only an issue with voting since the real shares need to be identified and a shareholder might find himself without a vote, but that's an issue whether the short shares are naked or not. But again, don't worry PTOI investors--you've never been given any opportunity to vote on anything related to PTOI anyway and you probably won't ever be given an opportunity...so you should be fine with that too.

I think the Faithful and Patient can cross off naked shorters as the cause of their losses in PTOI. Don't worry there, they can still try to blame regular shorters, market makers,, paid bashers, employers of paid bashers, regular bashers, skeptics, big oil, the SEC and other government agencies, wash traders, PTOI competition, Trix rabbits wanting to steal the secret catalyst, boogiemen and other unknown entities all wanting to bring down PTOI. Just don't ever focus on the fake claims made by the company to initially pump the shares as the cause of the losses.
