I remember last October 2013 when we were all waiting for the Becton Dickenson validation. Finally, when everyone's nerves were frayed, Gerald tweeted saying he and Adam Simons were presently at Beckton Dickenson having a discussion with their marketing people about Lympro's launch in 2014. He reassured us that Lympro was on target. Then in at the LA Conference in December Gerald referred to Becton Dickenson as our "partner."
Those "intimations" excited the troops back in the Fall of 2013, stoking expectations for 2014. I remember asking Gerald on a CC in November about that .10 cent thing and being there for over 20 consecutive days before we got the necessary funding. Gerald told me that he wouldn't have structured that deal unless he were confident that the catalysts they had would get us over. Yet, here we are 13 months later still trading at .09 cents.
So, even though Gerald's "intimations" are exciting, I've been down that road before. I was his biggest promoter up until this September. Now, I am going to wait to get excited by anything he says....until he actually delivers it!!
"LymPro revenues will change the math" and "we'll get a significant portion of 150 million" are pretty vague revenue guidance. And as for the objections, "well he is in negotiations with a partner or a buyer for Lympro and can't be any more specific." Well, we've heard that before too, many times!
I'm not saying December and January won't be great months for us. I am hoping they will. I have just learned from experience to keep my expectations in check when it comes to Gerald's "intimations."
