It's irrational.....
Lets just say your filings were up to date, and you had 20m in the bank. And, lets just suppose you couldn't find a better use for the capital (highly unlikely)
The rules alone would prevent you from buying any meaningful amount of shares...
Volume ADTV-Average Daily Trading Volume
Repurchases cannot exceed 25 percent of the ADTV during the
four weeks prior to the week in which the repurchases occur. The
purpose of this restriction is to prevent a company from dominating the
market for its securities.
