Another patent update:
Uspto pair is showing a new non-final rejection mailed for case 13/350,127 (this was the one that dealt with aptamers and also mentions detection of viruses but is not for the n-assay).
The good news is that even though the cover sheet looks to have a typo on it, almost all of the claims have been allowed. Only 2 dependent claims (7 and 16) are rejected and that should be an easy fix for the attorney. Hopefully they will file the amendment quickly and an allowance could be out by Christmas.
Somebody will likely have to correct me, but I believe this is the method that cut detection time significantly from their old standard with the bnp.
