Urano is methodically investigating the mechanics of Wolfram's and exactly how it works. His priorities of testing existent medicines for effectiveness is a logical approach, but this certainly has not removed MANF from consideration. He is keeping the "toolbox" on the table, as Dr. Lowe would say! If a cure is found for Wolfram's it is likely going to be a combination of treatments, a cocktail as has been discussed earlier. Urano is well aware of the unique properties of MANF and I'm sure we will be hearing more in this regard soon. Not surprised that the use of MANF to arrest cell death is still very much in the strategy for treating Wolfram's.
