As an exec, I was first concerned that a PR came out with Coverde and iKingdom with Calkin being the CEO of one and the president of the other. I was thinking, uh-oh, conflict of interest as two of the companies are publicly traded and the private firm entered into one agreement. I then looked a little deeper into the PR and salvaged a possible silver lining and now perhaps a greater understanding of the thank you universe comment. From the PR we read this.
The JV strategy allows us to access markets we normally would not. By no means is Converde changing focus and entering into the medical cannabis business but by using local partners who are already in the business the company is able to capitalize on revenues it previous would not have access to
Converde will be looking for a local partner to sell in the MMJ market and open new lines of revenue for themselves and their partner(s). Now I see the possible connection here. Enter GRCU. DTL, TNL and others I've spoken with makes a lot of sense. Merger and market monopoly anyone?? What'd ya think??
