I suppose you missed the part about the plan to spin-out the diagnostics division to generate revenue in 2015, and giving what would appear to be a sizable chunk of that revenue back to shareholders in the form of a dividend. We're not going to have to wait long for revenues, but they won't be in the form you expect.

Justice would be served if when the announcement is made, Gerald states the ex-dividend date as the date of the announcement, and he makes the announcement after the close of the market. That would mean those flipping the stock might get caught being largely out of their shares, and therefore have no claim to the dividend payout. That would be SWEET in my eyes.
