There had been a concerted effort by the basher camp to use the previous zoning bylaws as a scare tactic as to why they won't receive a license. It was intense, relentless, and unavoidable. Unless you really dug in to find the ins and outs of Lakehores zoning bylaws you easily could have been influenced by the detractors. Any PR regarding an application for a zoning change could have only fed that beast while having no positive value to investors who, imo, regards the issue of future expansion as virtually invisible next to the issue of licensure. Hence, no good reason to PR it. The facts of the matter are ok, but the potential misinterpretation/ twisting/ and spin would have been greater, imo.
