They never hooked up the panels, not one spark has ever been generated. From my reading the land was zoned agricultural value added, Jim failed to get the zoning changed to allow the movie studio,and failed another two times after that to have it changed from agricultural. It was a big noise press conference but nothing happened. Tom Bain was there lending his support but it did not pass. The head of Great Lakes Energy was there but the solar energy was part of the movie studio - what was not used would be put into the grid. There was talk on this board last summer about the company speaking to Hydro One about the possibility of hooking into the grid if the project moves forward and that would seem to indicate it never happened.
