I'm also considering the possibility a BP partnership might have been a strategy at one point (this comment was made in late 2013), and that strategy may have changed over the last year as developments unfolded. There has been no mention of a BP partnership over the last year in Gerald's blog statements, which tends to support this line of thinking, but I haven't reviewed the conference calls or video interviews made after he made this statement in 2013.
