I use Friday's close price per share as the starting point, or alerted price. Then each day throughout the week of the contest I calculate the starting pps with the close pps of the day which gives me the % gains or losses. So while last weeks winner getmoreshares won from his Friday's gain, this weeks winner bjl369 won from Tuesday's close % gain.
