We know that Jim Shaban was approached by the town of Lakeshore, not the other way around. Someone has the notes from a lunch meeting where Jim and Bill were told that zoning concerns would not be an issue. There is a reason Bill has been so confident about the zoning. I don't think they would would have gambled 20 mil on the POSSIBILITY that they could get legal approval for the property. Once again, it was clearly noted in town council minutes that the facility was to be used for growing marijuana and the zoning AT THE TIME was legal.
